Who We Serve
Holy Trinity Episcopal School serves and supports students with learning differences to achieve their highest potential. We serve families as well, making sure they feel confident and satisfied as we prepare their children for success in life.
Holy Trinity Episcopal School serves students who learn differently and who need a smaller, more personalized instructional setting. These learning differences may affect reading, written language, math, attention, social functioning, oral expression, listening comprehension, and/or organization and planning. Learning differences may or may not be related to an identified disability. Some students who experience learning differences may be defined by a professional as having:
-
ADHD
-
Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dysgraphia
-
Language Disorder
-
Challenges with Processing Speed, Executive Function, or Working Memory
-
Learning Disabilities in Reading, Math or Written Language
-
Mild Anxiety Disorder
-
Mild Autism Spectrum Disorder
Our Mission May Not Serve All Students
Even though we wish we could help everyone, we recognize that Holy Trinity Episcopal School is not the right fit for all students. We are not a therapeutic school, and we do not have specialized resources for significant behavioral/psychiatric needs. Although we serve a wide range of students with learning differences, there are student profiles that fall outside of our mission and scope of service. This may include students who are diagnosed by a professional with:
-
Severe Intellectual Disability
-
Moderate to Severe Emotional Disorders
-
Moderate to Severe Autism Spectrum Disorder
Or have a history of school related behavioral challenges that may be related to:
-
Oppositional Defiant Disorder
-
Conduct Disorder
-
Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder.
Admission decisions are informed by a review of students’ individual needs and are not based solely on identified disability.
*Holy Trinity Episcopal School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, genetic information, age, pregnancy, disability, or martial status in its educational programs, services or activities, or in its hiring or employment practices.
