What is it like to be an htes student?
No two HTES students are alike.
Each student has unique talents and unique struggles. Students who attend HTES have learning differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and other learning disabilities.
Most students come to HTES with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) from the previous school listing their individual difficulties.
At HTES, we review each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) to make sure she or he receives the appropriate accommodations. We also use IEPs to create individual plans so each student is given the best opportunity to succeed.
Most have struggled to learn and make friends in a traditional academic environment.
The social circles at HTES are smaller than that of an average public school. This allows students to focus on increasing their social skills and awareness. Here, your student will be able to make friends and build relationships.
If HTES is the school for you…
We welcome your inquiries and look forward to receiving your application. We accept Scholarships! (See below)
